We offer the following Bachelor’s degree programs in cooperation with the HS Hannover and our 100% subsidiary, onoff automation services GmbH:
(Focus Electrical Engineering)
You have an interest in sensors, wiring and programming and would like to combine practical training with a degree course. With us, you will start with full-time vocational training as an electronics technician for automation technology (duration 1.5 years) and at the same time begin your studies for a Bachelor of Engineering (FH), specializing in electrical engineering and information technology. You will gain an insight into the construction of circuit diagrams, the wiring of control cabinets and the installation of sensors and pumps. You will get to know the latest system technology and carry out PLC programming. You will also provide support during commissioning and troubleshooting at our customers’ sites. During your studies, you will deepen the knowledge you have already acquired during your apprenticeship. Parallel to your studies, you will take on your first project work during the practical units at onoff and then write your bachelor’s thesis under expert supervision.
Theory and practice are closely linked here. The practical work in the company is strongly oriented to the study plan, so you get the ideal combination for further personal and professional development. Another advantage is certainly that you can already earn your own money after school, but you don’t have to give up your studies – this offers you independence. After your studies, you can start your career path either in a suitable position or in another part-time study program – here, too, the paths to go with SpiraTec are open to you.
For a study place, you can apply directly to us with an application (letter of motivation, CV, relevant certificates). There is no fixed application period. Ideally, however, you should apply about ¾ year to 1 year before the start of your studies on 01.10. of each year. For your application, we need your last two school reports and other proof of extracurricular activities. If your diploma is not yet available, you can submit it later when you have your degree in your pocket.
For the dual study program, you need a university entrance qualification, i.e. either a general university entrance qualification or a subject-specific university entrance qualification, depending on the chosen field of study. You need a higher education entrance qualification for the dual study program, i.e. either a general higher education entrance qualification, a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification corresponding to the chosen field of study or a comparable qualification.
The advantage of the dual study program is that you receive a monthly salary from us as the training company. The remuneration is based on the usual training remuneration for the course of study. We will be happy to give you more information about this in an interview. We also pay the tuition fees for your studies.
