Occupational safety
Occupational and health safety policy
We consistently comply with all legal and regulatory requirements, as well as any other commitments we have made in the area of occupational health and safety, and ensure that these are integrated and effectively implemented at all our locations.
We create safe and healthy workplaces by systematically identifying and assessing hazards and eliminating them primarily at their source. Risks are minimized, and preventive measures are continuously refined.
We continuously improve our occupational health and safety management system – based on measurements, audit results, analyses, and feedback. Our goal is to maintain a high level of performance in occupational health and safety.
We actively encourage all employees to get involved. We establish secure reporting channels, enable employee participation in occupational safety matters, and ensure that no one has to fear any negative consequences for raising concers about risks or opportunities for improvement.
Occupational safety is a management responsibility. Managers at all levels are required to ensure safe working conditions, provide adequate resources, verify the effectiveness of safety measures, and set an example by demonstrating a safety-conscious culture through their own conduct.
We take a holistic approach to health – physical, mental, and social. We design ergonomically sound workplaces, promote health-conscious behaviors, manage stress levels, and support the maintenance of resilience and well-being within the company.
We ensure open, clear, and regular communication on occupational safety and health topics and make sure that all employees have access to relevant information, instructions, and training opportunities related to occupational safety and health.
Management is committed to ensuring the implementation of this policy, providing all necessary resources, and conducting regular reviews.
Our goal is clear: a safe, healthy, and respectful workplace – at every location, for every employee.
SpiraTec AG’s occupational safety management system is regularly assessed by the German Social Accident Insurance Institution for the Raw Materials and Chemical Industry (BRCI) in accordance with the principles of the “Sicher mit System” quality seal. The quality seal is based on NLF/ILO-OSH 2001, DGUV Guideline 311-002, and DIN ISO 45001.
