On February 4, 2026, SpiraTec AG hosted the winter workshop of the Partner Community Security Network of Siemens AG, sending a strong signal of trust, close partnership, and mutual exchange in the field of cyber security. The event took place in Speyer and brought together representatives from Siemens and partner companies to discuss current developments, challenges, and solutions in the field of IT security.
After a welcome address by Andreas Schadt, CEO of SpiraTec AG, participants were given a concise overview of the governance structures and the new partner framework at Siemens AG. The workshop focused in particular on IT security in critical infrastructures.
A highlight was the customer keynote on gas storage and IT security services. It offered practical insights into security-related requirements and solutions for the operation of critical infrastructures and presented concrete approaches for the protection of sensitive systems.
Another focus was on secure remote maintenance access with Siemens products. Concrete application examples – including those related to maritime scenarios – were used to illustrate how modern technologies enable secure and reliable operation even under demanding and distributed conditions.
In the subsequent breakout sessions, participants took the opportunity to engage in intensive discussions. Experiences were shared, questions discussed, and new ideas for future joint projects and partnerships gathered.
