Occupational and health safety policy
The SpiraTec Group is committed to promoting the safety and health of its employees and reducing work-related risks. Occupational safety and health are essential components of our corporate strategy and are taken into account in the design of our operational processes.
Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as other commitments we have made in the areas of occupational safety and health, is an essential part of our management. To this end, we have established processes that support the implementation of these requirements. The application of the defined measures is continuously reviewed and further developed.
We promote safe and healthy working conditions by systematically identifying and assessing hazards and taking appropriate measures to prevent, reduce, or eliminate them. Risks are continuously assessed as part of our occupational safety and health management system and reduced through preventive measures. We review the effectiveness of our measures and continuously refine them.
We are continuously improving our occupational safety and health management system. This process is based on measurements, audit results, analyses, and feedback from our employees. We evaluate the effectiveness of our measures using defined key performance indicators and ongoing reviews. Our goal is to continuously improve the performance of our occupational safety and health management system.
We actively encourage our employees to participate in occupational safety and health matters. To this end, we provide appropriate reporting channels and opportunities for participation, and we foster a culture of open communication. We are committed to ensuring that risks and opportunities for improvement can be openly addressed, while protecting employees within the framework of our internal policies.
Occupational safety and health is a leadership responsibility. Managers at all levels are responsible for addressing safety and health requirements within their respective areas of responsibility, providing adequate resources, and supporting the implementation of occupational safety and health measures. In addition, they review the effectiveness of the established measures and promote a positive safety culture through their behavior.
We take physical, mental, and work-related health aspects into account when designing our working conditions. This includes, among other things, ergonomic workplace design, consideration of work-related stressors, and programs for health promotion and prevention. In addition, we provide information, support, and training programs that help employees maintain their ability to work and their health. The use of selected programs is evaluated as part of our health management system.
We promote open, clear, and regular communication on occupational safety and health topics. Our employees have access to relevant information, instructions, and training programs that help them perform their work safely.
Management is committed to support the implementation of this policy, providing adequate resources, and regularly evaluating the effectiveness of the established measures.
Our goal is to continuously develop the conditions for a safe, health-promoting, and respectful work environment at our locations and to improve working conditions sustainably.
SpiraTec AG’s occupational safety management system is regularly assessed by the German Social Accident Insurance Association for Raw Materials and the Chemical Industry (BRCI) in accordance with the principles of the “Sicher mit System”(en. “Safe Through Sestematic Approaches”) quality seal. The quality seal is based on NLF/ILO-OSH 2001, DGUV Principle 311-002, and DIN ISO 45001.
