Speyer, September 11, 2023 – Since spring 2022, the SpiraTec Group has expanded to include Industrial Solutions M & B GmbH, the already renamed SpiraTec Italia S.r.l. and the companies of onoff AG. In the second year of the further development of the SpiraTec Group, there are now changes that focus on the strategic orientation of the cooperation between the companies.
The onoff AG has already been active for 35 years as a system-independent partner for automation and IT. Originally founded as onoff engineering gmbh, the group has expanded over time and, together with onoff it-solutions gmbh and onoff automation services gmbh, has built up a broad portfolio of services for customers.
After SpiraTec AG took over the majority of the shares of the founding families in April 2022, the opportunities that a capital market can additionally open up became obsolete. Following the discontinuation of the stock market listing, a so-called squeeze out therefore took place, so that the remaining free small shareholders left. In the course of the withdrawal from the capital market, the strategic transformation of onoff AG into onoff GmbH is now taking place and marks an important step in the development of the company. In doing so, the cooperation with the parent company SpiraTec AG will be intensified in order to further strengthen growth and competitiveness.
onoff GmbH will continue to be managed by Dr. Uwe Ganzer (formerly sole director of onoff AG) as managing director and will benefit from the close support of the entire SpiraTec Group. In order to deepen this cooperation, the two board members of the parent SpiraTec AG, Frank Heines and Andreas Schadt, will join the management of onoff GmbH and contribute their expertise. This step will help to exploit synergies and promote innovative strength by pooling forces within the Group.
