SpiraTec Talent Program – discover perspectives, unleash potential
- 24.07.2025
The SpiraTec Talent Program is more than just further training – it is a targeted investment in personal development, entrepreneurial thinking, and sustainable networking. It is aimed at committed colleagues who want more: more responsibility, more prospects, more impact.
The aim of the program is to support talented individuals on their individual career paths and accelerate their development with a well-thought-out training concept, strategic support from top management, and the establishment of a strong cross-location network. “I applied because I saw it as a good opportunity for advancement and wanted to develop further within the company,” says one participant, who now works as a Senior Professional Consultant in the Industrial IT Solutions division. “A colleague from the first year told me about it, and I knew right away that it was something for me.”
All interested employees from operational areas who have been with the company for at least two years can apply. The program begins once the application process has been successfully completed. Over the course of three years, participants attend several workshops that focus on specific methodological skills.
Learning from those who shape the future
A special feature of the talent program is the close interaction with the Executive Board. Top management is actively involved in every workshop – not just as a source of inspiration, but as a genuine discussion partner. This leads to exciting dialogues, new perspectives, and sometimes even opens the door to new tasks. “What inspired me most was the company presentation by our Executive Board – content that you can’t read anywhere else, with insights that go far beyond the everyday,” says another participant.
Each talent is assigned a personal mentor from top management – a direct line to reflect on development potential, discuss new areas of application, and benefit from the experience of seasoned executives. “The program quickly teaches you many important tools and tricks that you need as a future manager – like a well-stocked toolbox.”
Training that makes the difference
The interdisciplinary training program is divided into various modules and focuses on methodological competence, project management, strategic planning, and leadership skills. “ The training and workshops with experienced coaches broadened my perspective – it was a very good mix of theory, practice, and personal reflection,” one participant summarizes his experience.
Personal growth – professional advancement
Those who complete the talent program not only grow personally, but often also grow into a new role. “In my new additional role as subteam coordinator, I was able to apply many of the skills I learned skills, whether in employee management or project management.“
Others report surprising insights: ”The talent matrix confronted me with tasks that I would not have tackled in my normal day-to-day work – that took me out of my comfort zone and helped me grow.”
The exchange with talented individuals from other locations and divisions is a central element of the program. This creates strong connections that extend beyond one’s own area. “The shared sense of humor in the talent group contributed greatly to the learning environment – we learned together, laughed together, and motivated each other.”
Who is the program for?
The talent program is aimed at anyone who identifies with the company, wants to take on leadership responsibility, and has a desire to look beyond their own professional horizons. “If you want to take on project management responsibilities beyond operational tasks, the talent program is definitely recommended. And you should like people. That’s the basis.” Or as another participant put it: “It’s a unique opportunity – not everyone has the chance to develop in such a targeted way within a company.”
What remains at the end? A toolbox full of methods. A compass for your own path. A supportive network. And the realization that if you only do what you already know how to do, you will always remain what you already are.
