Fabian, Stephan & Frederik: Completion of the talent program

Completion of the talent program: At the beginning of July, it was that time again. Three employees were celebrated by numerous colleagues. They had successfully completed the talent program shortly before.

Since 2019, SpiraTec’s internal talent program has given ambitious talents the chance to accelerate their career development and take on responsibility more quickly. In three years, participants can develop personally as well as professionally through targeted training and the establishment of a cross-site network. The internally developed talent program consists of a cross-disciplinary training program comprising various modules, such as employee leadership, project management and account management, to build and promote methodological skills. In addition to a mentor from top management who assists each talent, the members of the Executive Board are also involved in all workshops, which provides additional opportunities for networking and exchange.

“The talent program has played a significant role for us in advancing our careers and expanding our knowledge,” explains one of the graduates. “It has given us the chance to develop faster and gain a deeper understanding of the different areas within SpiraTec. In particular, the collaboration with other business units and the exchange with experienced mentors was very valuable.”

The direct contact with the management was a special feature that the Talents emphasized in the interview. The participants thus had the opportunity to exchange interesting experiences and to present their own skills and ideas for new projects or tasks. But the get-together had even more advantages for our three colleagues: “The Talent Program enabled us to network with specialists from different areas and locations in a very short time. This gave us an enormous boost and strengthened our team,” they emphasize. “We were able to identify contact persons who have specific know-how and can support us in tackling new challenges.”

When asked whether the decision to take part in the Talent Program was the right one and whether they would recommend it to other colleagues, the three Talents, Frederik, Stephan and Fabian, unanimously respond positively. “We would definitely recommend the program to others! We now have an eye on which of our employees will be eligible for the Talent Program in the future. The development allows us to hand off tasks in the long term so that we can be successful in our new roles ourselves.”

The specially developed talent program is an important tool for promoting and developing talented professionals at SpiraTec. The company plans to further expand the program and encourages all qualified employees to reach the next stage of their career with the help of the talent program.
