    When I was offered the opportunity to build up a new location from scratch together with SpiraTec in 2014, there was enough excitement in the idea itself. 7 years down the road and the excitement levels still remain as high as ever, except that it now no longer arises solely from anticipation and the explorer spirit, rather now primarily from responsibility in quite a few directions, such as regarding the staff, customers, business etc. The field of activity covers all business areas and all corporate functions of SpiraTec. This also means that I’m in lively contact with lots of great SpiraTec people all over the country. But the most fun for me is the day-to-day collaboration and development with my own teams.

    If I view it from a personal aspect, then SpiraTec is characterized by the fact that very varied and innovative projects are worked on and successfully completed in young multicultural teams, across different trades for internationally active customers.     What I find outstanding at SpiraTec is the team, the good etiquette and the open communication, which all combine to make it easier to work together and get along with each other. This makes it much more fun in the team and also for collaborating as team-overarching. The different project roles which I can play out internally and externally (with the customer) are extremely exciting. I can act as Project Manager or Level 3 Support depending on which customer is involved. I look after the team coordination internally. It definitely never gets boring. It’s always varied here and the tasks are also very diverse.

    As a dual student of information technology at the DHBW Mannheim, I really like the alternation between the theory phase and practical phase, which thereby makes the study courses quite varied. The range of tasks was very varied at an early stage, whereby I gained interesting insights into the areas of HR, marketing, administration and accounting. The combination of the broad range of tasks and the family-like working atmosphere has made SpiraTec an attractive employer for me up to this day. This resulted in my decision to start ongoing training to become a “Bilanzbuchhalter” (Balance Sheet Accountant), as a supplement to my specialist areas of accounting and controlling.     Working for SpiraTec has the big advantage of flexibility. Your work and tasks are flexible in the matter that you will learn different systems and execute different tasks and parts of the process in industrial automation. This is exiting to me because I always learn something new and see something different. No project is the same. You are also flexible in your location with all the offices SpiraTec has. I started out at the headquarter in Germany and am now in California. I like the weather and possibilities here. Last there is the flexibility of the work hours. All in all SpiraTec is a company where you experience a lot of different things and you have a say in what you want to do.
